Over 23 Years Of Experience

 A distinguished Kalaripayattu Master with over 23 years of training under Padmashri Shankara Narayana Menon Gurukkal, the individual has become a global leader in this ancient martial art. Notable achievements include six world records in Kalaripayattu, three in the Indian Book of Records and three in the Asian Book of Records, along with multiple national and university championships. Recognized with the Grand Master Award, the individual has also been honored by the Indian government, meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and military leaders, and received awards from the Indian Army Chief during their time in the National Cadet Corps (NCC).

The master holds three advanced master’s degrees in Human Movement Science from prestigious institutions, blending theoretical and practical expertise. Their deep knowledge of Kalaripayattu has been shared with diverse groups, including law enforcement and military, highlighting both its martial and philosophical aspects.

As the founder of the Vallabhatta Uk Kalaripayattu Academy in London, they continue to preserve and promote Kalaripayattu globally, ensuring the tradition’s continuity and spreading its cultural heritage through international demonstrations. Their unique combination of traditional mastery, academic excellence, and global outreach has made a lasting impact on the martial arts community and beyond.

Heir to a legendary kalaripayattu lineage

Keerthy Krishna Gurukkal is a highly accomplished Kalaripayattu practitioner, carrying forward a rich and powerful legacy. As the granddaughter of Padma Shri Shankaranarayana Menon Gurukkal and the daughter of Krishnadas Gurukkal, one of the most respected figures in the world of Indian Kalaripayattu, Keerthi has been immersed in the ancient martial art from birth.

With over 25 years of dedicated experience, she has not only upheld the family tradition but carved her own path through excellence. Keerthi is a University and National Champion in Kalaripayattu, recognized for her skill, discipline, and leadership. Her journey has taken her beyond borders — she has successfully conducted Kalaripayattu classes in both India and Dubai, inspiring students from diverse backgrounds.

Her teaching blends deep-rooted traditional knowledge with a modern approach, making her an influential figure in promoting Kalaripayattu globally, especially among women and youth.
